The
Four L.A.W.S of Wagering

The best advice on wagering can be simply described by the four L.A.W.S. of
wagering. Before we get started, I purposefully use the word wagering and not
gambling. Gambling by definition is *"to bet money on the outcome of a game,
contest, or other event. To expose to hazard, to risk. An act or undertaking
of uncertain outcome;"
The key is to place an educated wager using a mathematical system so as to eliminate
risk and produce profit based on percentages. A mathematical system will generate
winning on a obserable statistical rate. There is no need for random and emotional
gambling.
The four L.A.W.S. of wagering are very simple and should always be followed.
Adhering to this strategy is the best tip available.
1)
Legal book only----Always use a legal bookie, so as to avoid any legal
and health problems. In this age of modern technology there are several reliable
and safe companies to place wagers.
2) Afford to play----Always wage what you can afford to lose. Never place
a wager that will compromise you emotionally or financially. I recently turned
down a customer who wanted to send me $300.00 for my daily selections during
the last week of the 2000 NBA season. He needed money to help a ill member of
his family. I wanted to help him and I understood his plight but this would
be the wrong reason for wagering.
3) Wager to win----Sounds obvious enough but we all know people who just
"have to" place a bet. Their main concern is the thrill of the bet, anytime,
anywhere and on anything. Winning is not their main focus. A true horse handicapper
never plays the whole 9 race card because they would lose. Wisely, they study
and place an educated wager on one race with extreme confidence. Treat your
wagers like a business. YOU'RE IN TO WIN!!!!
4) Select a concerned professional----If you decide to purchase selections
and /or advice, do your homework. Select a concerned handicapper who is interested
in you winning. Too many large companies just want you to pay for their selections
day in and day out. Any company that gives selections everyday and for more
than one sport is only after your money. The best sites give selections only
when it's TIME TO WIN and they guarantee their picks. Lastily, don't trust the
"inguisition" people. They believe it's only possible to win at best 55-58%
of the time. Remember most people use to think the world was flat and everyone
else was wrong. Placing a wager can be Safe, Affordable, Fun and Profitable
if you live by the L.A.W.S.
